SEO, content, web operations, digital PR, reporting, and cross-functional growth

A growing publisher needed search, content, product, and web operations to support customer acquisition and a primary revenue-driving site—not operate as separate functions.

Commercial outcomes

  • Helped scale the primary revenue-driving site from $0 to nearly $10M in web revenue in under three years.
  • Helped drive 40,000+ first-time depositors across sportsbook and casino partners through SEO, content, affiliate, and web initiatives.
  • In 2022, page-one terms increased 94% from 4,635 to 8,999.
  • #1 terms increased 123%, and commercial-intent page-one terms increased 124%.
  • 1.32M U.S. organic clicks and 59.6M impressions from July 16, 2022 through July 15, 2023.

Leadership and scope

Led 20+ people across SEO, editorial, development, paid media, affiliate marketing, and analytics. Work included technical SEO, site architecture, crawlability, indexation, internal linking, scalable page templates, site performance, WordPress publishing, digital PR, reporting, forecasting, and revenue planning.

Rich also led in-house digital PR and link-acquisition work and collaborated with agency partners on larger campaigns in highly competitive search markets.

What this demonstrates: senior SEO consulting and organic growth leadership that connects commercial priorities with the detailed technical SEO and web implementation required to get work live.

SEO roadmaps, architecture, content systems, CMS collaboration, training, and measurement

500+ search-intent-aligned pages were created and optimized across a portfolio that needed clearer priorities and a repeatable way to connect search demand, site structure, publishing, and technical work.

  • Rebuilt SEO and content operations across multiple affiliate websites.
  • Designed roadmaps, information architecture, internal linking, content standards, and conversion-focused page structures.
  • Worked with developers on technical SEO, CMS, and site-performance improvements.
  • Built AI-assisted automation and lightweight tools for research, reporting, publishing, and day-to-day operations.
  • Trained teams on repeatable SEO and publishing practices.

No traffic, revenue, conversion, or ranking outcome is claimed here; the evidence is the scale of the work and the operating system built around it.

What this demonstrates: the ability to turn a large content mandate into a usable roadmap, technical plan, publishing system, and AI workflows and custom tools a team can keep using.

Research and building

  • Market, competitor, search landscape, product, acquisition-channel, and user-needs research
  • AI-assisted research, reporting, publishing, and QA workflows
  • Websites, lightweight scripts, and internal tools

What this demonstrates: current, hands-on AI search consulting and product-facing research that can extend into AI workflows, automation, and custom tools when building is the clearest answer.
